Proportional Valve changes the output pressure or flow in the same proportion as the input, for example, if the input doubles, the output will double as well. This valve is mounted directly on the vehicle's chassis at the back end, with a lever connecting them to the suspension system. A Proportional Valve is a valve that uses statics to deliver a lower pressure to an output line. A basic example is when a spring load reduces the output pressure by applying a lowering force. To reduce the braking fluid pressure to the back brakes, proportioning valves are commonly employed in automobiles.
